Groom & Bride
Raphael Forrer
Raphi grew up in Austria, although is dad is from Switzerland and his mom from Germany. After some time in the Middle East he moved to the states to study theology. In 2015 he randomly ended up at a small Bible Camp in Wisconsin where he found himself visiting and re-visiting the camps craft shop. The young woman in charge of the shop had gotten his attention with her contagious joyfulness and as it turns out she would never lose it.
Ellianna Fitch
Through living in Wisconsin, British Columbia, and Ireland, Ell has been on the journey of gaining new “homes.” Never would she have thought that Austria would soon be on that list. After 5 years of post secondary education, Ell has graduated with a degree in Intercultural Studies and is about to marry a man she met at Bible camp a few years back. What an adventure it’s been and what a time to look forward to.

Austria & United States
A wedding is always the bringing together of two different traditions and families and – in our case – the bringing together of two different cultures. It might be hard to believe for our Austrian guests, but there is more to the US than Hollywood, and it might be hard to believe for our American guests, but there is more to Austria than Sound of Music 😉

Accommodations
Hotel Zollner:
We have reserved a block of rooms until the 31st of May at Hotel Zollner. This is the same location where also our reception will take place.

Registry
We are excited that people will come and fly in from all parts of the world (Ireland, Czech Republic, USA, Germany, Switzerland and of course Austria) for our big day. So the biggest gift for us is your presence. However, if you want to go above and beyond and still give us a gift, here is two ways of doing it:
After our wedding, we will be starting life together in Austria and so if you want to help us to afford furniture, a car, and whatever else is necessary to do life, then feel free to give a monetary gift.
